Two 3-run innings pushed the Suns past the Power tonight. �The Power scored their innings in the 3rd inning, when CF Robbie Grossman singled, and both LF Quincy Latimore and SS Chase D'Arnaud walked. �3B Jeremy Farrell picked up two RBI with a double that scored Grossman and Latimore. �The Power also had two singles by RF�Austin McClune,�and one b 1B Erik Huber, and three other Power batters walked. �Their biggest threat after the 3rd inning came in the 5th, when Huber and McClune both singled to lead off the inning, but three ground outs ended the inning without a run scoring. �

Maurice Bankston suffered the loss for the Power, his 3rd of the season. �He pitched 4 innings and allowed 4 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 4 batters. �Hagerstown scored one run in the bottom of the 1st inning on a walk, a ground out, and an RBI single. �Bankston was responsible for the first of the Suns' 3-run innings, which came in the 4th. �The lead-off batter doubled, but then was picked off second base by C Josue Peley. �Bankston then got into trouble with two walks and three singles. �Owen Brolsma pitched 2 scoreless innings, allowing only a walk. �Brian Leach came on to pitch the 7th, and he was responsible for the second of the 3-run innings. �A single and a walk set up Suns' 1B Tyler Moore for a 3-run home run, to give the Suns a 7-2 lead. �

Three Curve pitchers combined to pitch a shut-out, limiting Harrisburg to 7 hits and one walk. Jared Hughes earned his first win of the season with 5 scoreless innings of work, allowing 3 hits and the walk, while striking out 4 batters. �The only serious jam he got into came in the 4th inning, with a hit batter and a single. �A ground out put the base runners on the corners, but Hughes struck out the next two batters to end the inning. �Jeff Sues followed Hughes with �another 3 scoreless innings, giving up a single in each innnig, and striking out 2 batters. �Josh Hill finished things up with a scoreless 9th inning, with a single and a game-ending double play. �

3B Pedro Lopez led the Curve offense with 3 hits, including one double, and RF Brad Corley homered. �The first Curve run scored in the 3rd inning, when SS Brian Friday singled, stole second base, and came around to score on Lopez's first single. �Lopez singled again in the 6th inning, and Corley brought him in with his 2-run bomb over the left field wall. �Lopez's double brought in two more runs in the 7th inning, after CF James Boone singled and Friday was hit by a pitch. �
