The leader in home runs for the Bradenton Marauders didn’t join the team until May 17th.
On that day, Axiel Plaz hit his first home run in Single-A. The next day, he homered again. After hitting his 13th home run of the season earlier this week, Plaz now leads the Marauders in the power department.
The Pirates signed Plaz as an international free agent out of Venezuela in January 2022.
