Game Recap:

Indianapolis (29-27) edged Columbus, 5-4.  Cody Bolton didn’t have a great start, giving up three runs over four innings.  He only gave up three hits and two walks, but most of that came in his final inning, as did all the runs.  John O’Reilly and Hunter Stratton each worked two scoreless innings in relief.  Bligh Madris and Carter Bins led the offense.  Madris had a single and two doubles, while Bins had two hits and two RBIs.  Madris’ OPS is now hitting 289/381/500; since the beginning of May he’s hitting .323, but it’s not like he’s an .050-hitting veteran.  Hoy Park had a double and Canaan Smith-Njigba a triple.  The Indians took a 5-3 lead into the ninth and Eric Hanhold allowed a run before picking up the save.
