The Pittsburgh Pirates take on the Detroit Tigers tonight at 7:05 PM EST at PNC Park.
The Pirates enter the two-game series with a 24-28 record, and an eight game road trip starting on Thursday.
Jose Quintana will take the mound tonight, bringing his 2.32 ERA up against Detroit’s Tarik Skubal, who has a 2.15 ERA in 58.2 innings.
My guess is we will also see the debut of Travis Swaggerty.
We will post the lineups when they are announced. Until then, feel free to use the comments for all Pirates discussion.

UPDATE: Change for the Tigers
The Tigers will start RHP Wily Peralta (2-0, 0.81 ERA) against Jose Quintana and the Pirates tonight instead of LHP Tarik Skiba, who is now scheduled to start Wednesday instead.

UPDATE #2: After a rain delay, the Tigers went back to their original starter. I feel like that’s something that Rob Manfred asked them to do because it makes zero sense like most of his decisions.
