Game Recap:

Altoona (19-21) beat Harrisburg, 6-4.  The game didn’t get off to a good start, as Omar Cruz gave up two-run home runs in each of the first two innings.  Cruz managed two scoreless innings after that, and then Noe Toribio took over.  Toribio worked five shutout innings, walking none and fanning eight.  That brought his ERA down to 1.86 and, despite a fastball that doesn’t light up the guns, he’s fanned 38 in 29 innings.  Matt Gorski picked right up where he left off in Greensboro.  After the Curve cut the deficit to 4-2, he launched a long, three-run bomb to put them ahead, 5-4.  Gorski finished with two hits.  Tucupita Marcano stayed hot, with two singles and a double.  In his last eight games, he’s 15-for-31 with seven extra-base hits.  Nick Gonzales fanned twice, but reached three times on two walks and a hit batsman.
