Bump Bubba up to Bradenton

Wilbur Miller

Aaaand Tank gets hit again. Really just barely nicked this time. Maybe standing just out of reach now.

For a guy pegged to be a pitcher, Bubba can sure hit some dingers! I saw the video posted of him hitting #2 the other day, and man does his swing look a lot different and very smooth to my untrained eye.

Wilbur Miller

Before the slam, he hit two balls to the track. Easy power.

Kid was barely even a baseball player when drafted, and it shows! Really remarkable development so far, now let’s hope he’s got that inherent ability to actually hit.

Uughhh!!!!! Now Polanco hurt!

looks like polanco got hurt. sigh

Bubba BOMB

Bucs'N'Pucks (Jeff Reed)

Strong start today

Wilbur Miller

Interesting tidbit — Chandler, who’s DH today, was out warming up the LF, throwing left handed. Even had the glove. Looked natural.

When they do those 2021 redraft articles in 5 or 10 years, it would not surprise me if Bubba shows up as 1-1

The PG had a story about Chandler this week and Persak wrote that when Chandler hurt his right arm as a freshman in HS, he taught himself to throw left handed just to have something to do. Chandler said he can reach 80 as a lefty and once had a 3 K inning pitching left handed in HS.

Think he might be an elite athlete?

he can do it all lol

Wilbur Miller

Watching him again now. Of course he’s just lobbing it, but you really wouldn’t know.

Bucs'N'Pucks (Jeff Reed)

Custodio season, and stateside, debut for FCL

jeez. i thought he’d debut years ago. wasn’t he supposed to?

Bucs'N'Pucks (Jeff Reed)

Only 2 ABs before being pulled. So, maybe a “rehab” stint before going to Bradenton? Didn’t realize he was going to be 21 in September.

oh nice. maybe! would be an interesting move, sending him there. he’s barely played this year

Bucs'N'Pucks (Jeff Reed)

Likely should have. Went back to DSL last year, even with the covid year in between. Though, that probably can’t be held against him TOO much

Kyle Nicolas fan club! Glad to have him back starting again
