Nick Kingham will make his third start for Indianapolis tonight. He made 12 starts for Altoona this year. In his AAA debut, Kingham threw seven shutout innings. He gave up one run over seven innings in his last start. In each of his last four starts for Altoona, Kingham was able to go seven innings. His 64 strikeouts this year is just one behind Adrian Sampson, who leads all Pirates minor league pitchers in strikeouts.

Pat Ludwig will make his second start for Altoona tonight. In his first start, he went five innings, allowing one run on six hits and two walks. He made four starts and 11 relief appearances for Bradenton this year. On the season, Ludwig has thrown a total of 58 innings, surrendering 67 hits, six homers and 15 walks. He has 45 strikeouts, a 1.30 GO/AO ratio and a .286 BAA.

Tyler Glasnow will make his 11th start of the season. He has thrown shutout ball in each of his last four starts, throwing a total of 21.2 scoreless innings. In 48.2 innings this season, he has 30 walks and 55 strikeouts. Glasnow has not allowed a home run this year. He has an 0.81 GO/AO ratio and a .160 BAA. He is holding right-handed batters to a .129 BAA. Glasnow faced Palm Beach on 6/12 and threw five shutout innings, striking out seven batters.

In his last start, he went six innings, giving up one run on six hits and two walks. He faced Delmarva on May 20th, giving up one run over five innings.

Neil Kozikowski will make his first start of the season today. The eighth round draft pick of the Pirates in 2013, pitched in the GCL last year, making six starts and one relief appearance.
