Pirates Agree to Deal With 13th Round Pick Frank Duncan

The Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to a deal with 13th round draft pick Frank Duncan. The 6’4″ right-hander from Kansas is on his way to Pittsburgh today and will take his physical tomorrow before the deal becomes official. The 22-year-old was drafted by the Cleveland Indians last year in the 39th round, but decided to return to school for his senior year. He started 16 games this season and threw 118.2 innings, striking out 82, while posting a 1.02 WHIP and .250 BAA. He will report to Jamestown after signing.
