It’s not often we get West Virginia Power highlights and this is the first time Harold Ramirez has been featured in one. Here he hits a double down the line in the ninth inning that brought home the tying run. The Power went on to lose the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. Ramirez had two hits in the game and since returning from a hamstring injury that cost him a month of the season, he is hitting .318/.390/.409 in 16 games.
Keeping it going with West Virginia highlights, we have a bases loaded triple from outfielder Justin Maffei from Monday’s game. He is making the most of his playing time lately, batting .412 with a .983 OPS in his last ten games.
On to Indianapolis from last night, where Chris McGuiness hit his fifth homer of the season. He has also been on a tear recently, hitting .417 with a 1.210 OPS in his last ten games. McGuiness showed impressive power here, going the opposite field on a swing that did not look like it would produce a home run.
