Yesterday, Luis Heredia left his scheduled start after throwing one pitch, leaving with what was described as right shoulder discomfort. Today, Tom Bragg of the Charleston Daily Mail reports that Heredia’s shoulder isn’t major.

Shoulder soreness is always cause for concern, especially when a pitcher has to leave a start after just one pitch. This is good news on Heredia, but it will be better news if he’s able to make his next start.
