Game Notes: Indianapolis lost their second straight game, going down 2-0 in the best of five series against Durham. The Indians were down 6-2 in the ninth inning when Jerry Sands hit a three run homer with no outs to bring Indianapolis to within one. It was the second homer of the game for Sands, and his two homers were responsible for all five runs. Graham Godfrey gave up four runs in the first without recording an out. Brooks Brown went three innings, and was followed by James McDonald for two innings in relief. The Indians will play tomorrow and try to avoid elimination, with Wandy Rodriguez taking the mound.
