Game Notes: Kris Johnson made his first start since pitching six innings in the majors. He will probably make one more start in Triple-A before rosters expand in September. Matt Hague hit his eighth homer of the year. He also hit two doubles, giving him 37 on the year. That ties with Josh Bell for the system lead. Chase d’Arnaud and Russ Canzler each picked up two hits. Those two, along with Hague, could both be options off the bench in September, as both players have a track record of hitting left-handed pitching.
