Game Notes: Stolmy Pimentel pitched well over seven innings, but two unearned runs cost him the game, as Indianapolis fell 4-3 to Gwinnett. He struck out seven batters, tying his high since joining Indianapolis. Neil Walker played his first rehab game, going 0-for-3, before leaving the game for a defensive replacement in the sixth inning. Indianapolis had nine hits, with the only extra-base hit coming from Ivan De Jesus, who replaced Walker. Russ Canzler had his second straight two hit game and he is 5-for-12 since joining Indianapolis.

Game Notes: Starter David Bromberg lasted just four innings, but the bullpen and Altoona offense helped them to a 7-4 win. Four relievers combined for five shutout innings, including 2.1 innings from Nate Baker, who picked up his 2nd win of the season. Altoona had nine hits, all singles. Alex Dickerson went 1-for-5 and now has a seven game hitting streak. Oscar Tejeda drove in four runs. He came into the game with four RBI’s for the Curve. Adalberto Santos and Gregory Polanco each scored two runs.

Game Notes: Robby Rowland picked up his eighth loss of the season, giving up four runs(two earned) in 4.1 innings. The Marauders defense made three errors. Emmanuel De Leon followed Rowland with 2.1 scoreless innings. Taylor Lewis hit his second homer and drove in two runs, while Stetson Allie drove in his 8th run since joining Bradenton. Elias Diaz had two hits.

Game Notes: Pat Ludwig got the spot start in the second game of the doubleheader, the second time he has been used as a starter. He gave up one run in four innings, giving way to Thomas Harlan, who threw three shutout innings for the win. Both of these pitchers were in the West Virginia bullpen three weeks ago. Stetson Allie drove in three runs, giving him four RBI’s on the day. Junior Sosa, Dan Gamache and Jacob Stallings each had two hits. Gamache now has 26 doubles on the season. Stallings and Benji Gonzalez each drove in two runs.

Game Notes: Jamestown scored six runs in the first inning, but they needed ten innings to pull out the victory. The Jammers actually fell behind, tying the score with a two out, ninth inning triple from Erich Weiss. In the tenth inning, Jeff Roy hit a bases loaded, two out single to win the game. Weiss came into the game hitting .143 in his first six games. The RBI was the first of his career. Jeff Roy went 3-for-5 and he is now hitting .340 in 29 games. Harold Ramirez now has 23 RBI’s in his first 30 games, the highest total on Jamestown. The Jammers are in first place in their division.

Game Notes: Reese McGuire had two hits, including his sixth double. In 12 games, he has eight multi-hit games and hits in 11 games. He has reached base in all 12 games. Blake Taylor, the second round draft pick from this season, got his second start of his career. He threw two shutout innings in his first game and gave up one run in three innings today. Beau Wallace went 0-for-4 in his GCL debut. He went 3-for-30 with Jamestown to start his career.
