Winter League Results: McPherson Rocked in First Start

Here are the results from yesterday’s winter league action.

**Kyle McPherson made his first start with the Tigers in the Dominican Winter League. McPherson gave up six runs on six hits in three innings, with a walk and three strikeouts. Most of the damage came in the fourth inning, with the Bulls scoring seven runs, including five that went to McPherson. The right-hander gave up a leadoff double and a two run homer. That was followed by an error, a single, and a walk before McPherson was removed. All three runners came around to score after reliever Antonio Cruz gave up a double and a triple to the first two batters.

**In the same game, Anderson Hernandez went 1-for-2.

**Brandon Boggs went 0-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base, and a run in the Venezuelan League. Boggs is 2-for-19 so far with a homer.
