Arizona Fall League Recap: 10/15

Tony Sanchez was off today, but the rest of the Pirates hitting prospects started today, leading the Mesa Solar Sox to an 8-7 victory:

-Andrew Lambo (.263) started for the fourth time in four AFL games, batting sixth and playing right field.  Lambo went 2-for-5 with a two run home run in the second inning.

-Josh Harrison (.133) hit leadoff for the second game in a row, starting in left field this time.  Harrison went 1-for-6 with a double and three strikeouts.

-Jordy Mercer (.429) started as the designated hitter, batting fifth.  Mercer followed up his big day yesterday by going 2-for-5 today, with a double and an RBI.

Mesa plays Peo Saguaros tomorrow at 6:35 PM MST/9:35 PM EST.
