Game Notes: Tyler Waldron gave up a first inning run, then held Richmond off the board until he was relieved by Michael Colla in the sixth inning. Colla picked up the win with 2.1 scoreless innings. Victor Black pitched a scoreless ninth for the save. Quincy Latimore reached base all five AB’s, with two hits, two walks and a HBP. In 38 games since the EL All-Star break, he has an .854 OPS. His 67 RBI’s rank him second on Altoona to Matt Curry(72) and ninth in the Eastern League.

Game Notes: Eliecer Navarro gave up three first innings runs, then after the Marauders came back to tie it in the top of the fourth, he allowed two runs in the bottom of the inning. Matt Benedict gave up two runs in four innings of relief. Bradenton picked up nine hits in the game, though they could only collect one extra base hit, a double from Benji Gonzalez hitting in the ninth hole. Gonzalez scored one run and drove in another. Bradenton dropped down to .500 in the second half.

Game Notes: Eric Avila extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a fourth inning single and then put WV back in the game with a two-run homer in the sixth. Jose Osuna had his hitting streak snapped at 14 games. Avila hit his sixth home run in his last eight games. He is hitting .318 over his last 38 games after spending extended time on the disabled list earlier in the season. Von Rosenberg had his second straight outing in which he gave up one earned run over five innings of work. Despite the good results, he has allowed nine base runners in each game. Joan Montero followed Zack with three scoreless innings, while Pat Ludwig came on to throw a scoreless ninth. Elias Diaz collected two hits, while Taylor Lewis drove in the other run and also stole his 19th base.

Ryan Hafner gave up two walks and a hit over 1.1 scoreless innings. Kevin Kleis threw two hitless innings, though he did allow a run. Samuel Gonzalez and Chris Diaz each collected a pair of singles. Gourley drove in his 24th run of the season, setting his season high in his fourth year of pro ball, three spent with State College. Vasquez has just seven RBI’s to go along with his five homers since getting promoted from the GCL . He has yet to draw a walk during his time with SC, while he has struck out 23 times in 21 games
