Justin Wilson Throws Second No Hitter of the 2012 Season

Published:

For the second time this year, Justin Wilson has been part of a no-hitter for Indianapolis. Earlier this season, the left-hander was part of a three man no-hitter, joined by Jose Diaz and Doug Slaten. This time around he pitched eight no-hit innings. That was all he needed, as the game was called due to rain with Indianapolis leading 3-0 at the time.

Wilson gave up just one walk and struck out five in the outing. He was extremely efficient, throwing 86 pitches, and 57 strikes. Nancy Zinni will have a live game recap later tonight.
