In the other game, Jameson Taillon gets the start. West Virginia was off yesterday. They resume their schedule with the first game of a six day road trip. He has made two starts on the road this season, the first he threw five shutout innings, the second he allowed seven runs in just four innings. Zack Dodson will get his 12th start of the season tonight. He has pitched a total of 48.2 innings, giving up 56 hits, five homers, 21 walks and he has recorded 36 strikeouts. In his last start, Zack gave up four runs(three earned) in five innings on seven hits and three walks. He faced Asheville on 5/2, which was also on the road, going 3.1 innings while allowing ten hits and six runs, both season highs. All five homers that Dodson has allowed this year have been solo shots.
