SCOTTSDALE lost 7-6

  • 2B Termarr Johnson: 2-for-5
  • RHP Brandan Bidois: 1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K

Brandan Bidois was the other Pirates prospect in action, throwing 1.2 scoreless innings in relief. Bidois struggled in his first outing of the AFL season, allowing six runs in less than an inning. He has since thrown 2.2 scoreless frames. The right-hander spent most of the 2024 season in High-A Greensboro, where he had a 4.85 ERA in 29.2 innings, along with a 43:17 K/BB. Bidois has better stuff than his numbers have indicated, but has struggled with control and command issues that have led to inconsistencies.
