Baseball America updated their top 100 prospects list on Tuesday morning after a player graduated over the weekend. The player slipping into the open #100 slot is Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Endy Rodriguez, who is currently hitting .342/.442/.747 in 21 games with Altoona.
This isn’t a re-ranking of the top 100, so no one else moved up more than one spot on the list. That being said, the Pirates now have six top 100 prospects for BA. A recent update to the list put Mike Burrows in the top 100. He is now up to 98th spot. The rest of the top 100 for the Pirates has Termarr Johnson leading the way in 44th place, followed by Quinn Priester in 64th, Liover Peguero in 76th and Henry Davis in 80th place. Those last three players, plus Rodriguez, are all currently playing for Altoona.
