This game was high scoring early, with Indianapolis down 7-4 after two innings. They made a comeback, but still lost 8-7. Starter Austin Brice allowed seven runs in 1.2 innings, then the bullpen gave up one run over the final 6.1 innings, led by Cam Alldred with 2.1 scoreless. The Indians got on the board first in the top of the first with a Bligh Madris sacrifice fly. Kevin Padlo then doubled in a run. Ground outs by Ji-hwan Bae and Diego Castillo scored runs in the second. Carter Bins hit a solo homer in the fourth, his tenth homer for Indianapolis. He then singled in a run in the ninth, then scored a run on a stolen base, with Jared Oliva stealing second base on the play. Ji-hwan Bae hit his 19th double.

Altoona won 8-1 on Tuesday night. Aaron Shortridge gave up four unearned runs in his last start, without allowing an earned run. He was a little better tonight, giving up just one run that was unearned. He allowed three hits, walked three batters and picked up five strikeouts. Jeffrey Passantino had a nice relief appearance, tossing three shutout innings. Austin Roberts pitched the ninth. The Curve got their first run on a Liover Peguero ground out in the third inning. Nick Gonzales then brought in a second run with a ground out. Endy Rodriguez then doubled in a run. Malcom Nunez hit a solo homer in the fourth, his fifth homer since joining Altoona. Rodriguez doubled in a run in the fifth as part of a three-hit night, giving him ten doubles on the season. Henry Davis doubled in two runs in the seventh, then created a run with a stolen base, scoring on a throwing error on the play.

Greensboro won 6-2, as Nick Garcia had a terrific start. He tossed seven shutout innings on three hits, four walks and six strikeouts. In the process, he lowered his ERA to 3.66 in 113 innings, with 109 strikeouts. Mitchell Miller tossed the final two innings and made it interesting at the end, but the Grasshoppers still pulled off the four-run win. Hunter Owen played for the first time in four months and he started the scoring with an RBI double in the fourth. Sammy Siani singled in a run in the sixth. Jacob Gonzalez hit his ninth homer for Greensboro, a two-run shot in the seventh. Mike Jarvis capped the scoring with his eighth homer, a two-run shot in the ninth. Abrahan Gutierrez had two hits, including his 21st double. Greensboro went 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position.

Bradenton took a tough loss when every win matters for their playoff chances. After going down 3-1 entering the top of the ninth, they put three runs on the board to take the lead. Johan Montero put two runners on in the top of the ninth while recording one out. He gave way to Carlos Lomeli, who gave up a game-tying double, then a grounder that scored the winning run for the 5-4 loss. Bubba Chandler was doing well in this game until he gave up four singles and a walk to start the fifth inning before being removed. Wilkin Ramos bailed him out by stranding three inherited runners, leaving Chandler with three runs over four innings and six strikeouts. Ramos threw two scoreless and Jake Sweeney tossed 1.2 scoreless. The Marauders got an RBI single from Jack Brannigan in the sixth, one of his two hits on the night. In the ninth, Tres Gonzalez brought in two with a bases loaded double, then Sergio Campana gave them the lead with a sacrifice fly. Rodolfo Nolasco played his first game in a month and he went 1-for-3 with a single.
