The Pirates Gold saw their season end on Monday in a must-win game and unearned runs were the difference. Victor Cabreja started and went 2.2 innings, with two hits, no walks and five strikeouts, but three unearned runs scored against him in the 6-3 loss. Keneth Quintanilla had five strikeouts and one run allowed in 3.2 innings. Luis Gonzalez gave up two runs (one earned) in 1.1 frames. Wilkin Valdez had 1.1 scoreless. Tony Blanco Jr homered in this game, his second playoff homer. He also hit a regular season homer last week that got wiped away due to the game ending before it was official. Yordany De Los Santos reached base four times on a single and three walks. He also stole a base. The Pirates had nine walks and two hit batters, but they went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position
