Welcome to the Pirates Prospects daily video rundown, where we pull some of the top videos of the Pittsburgh Pirates across the internet.

Daily Video Rundown

Travis Swaggerty

Swaggerty has carried his hot month of May into June. Friday, the former first round pick went 2-for-6 with two runs scored, a double and this three-run home run.

Swaggerty has really improved his overall numbers, with a slash of .280/.362/.439 with 11 extra-base hits and 22 RBI. He’s also stolen five bases.

Cody Bolton

After missing the last two years, Bolton is showing rapid improvement and threw a season high 91 pitches across five innings while striking out seven against Omaha on Thursday.

On the season, Bolton has thrown 32 1/3 innings while striking out 41 batters, holding the opposition to an .198 average.

Anthony Solometo

It’s still early, but Anthony Solometo has done a great job of erasing any uncertainty of if his delivery will hurt his control. The lefty walked two in three innings in his debut, but didn’t issue a free pass in his most recent outings.

Solometo pitched four innings, allowing three hits, an earned run while striking out four batters.

Andres Alvarez

Alvarez just keeps hitting for power, picking up his 17th extra-base hit of the season on this RBI double. It was his 22nd run driven in on the season.

Liover Peguero

Peguero committed another error tonight, but also made this nice grab with Brad Case pitching. Case came in to pitch after Kyle Nicolas left the game after 4 1/3 innings. The reliever pitched the final 4 2/3 innings striking out two batters.
