Noe Toribio
At just 22-years old, Noe Toribio is in his second tour with the Altoona Curve this year after making 14 appearances, eight starts, in 2021.
Toribio has been pitching completely out of the bullpen this year, and has had amazing results so far. In 15 2/3 innings pitched, Toribio has allowed three earned runs, and struck out 20 batters.
After three innings in relief on Saturday, Noe Toribio dropped his season ERA under 2. He struck out four on the day and showed some good swing and miss stuff. #LetsGoBucs pic.twitter.com/JhyEVhqvGe

Entering the game in the fourth after starter Carmen Mlodzinski, Toribio pitched three innings, allowing one hit, two walks while striking out four.
Justin Meis
After being used out of the bullpen exclusively last year with Bradenton, Justin Meis has been given the opportunity to start in 2022.

He was roughed up a bit in his first start (six earned runs in 3 1/3 innings), but since then it’s been a different story. Meis has allowed just one earned run in his next five appearances (did allow five unearned in a start), and pitched five shutout innings on Saturday.
Justin Meis put in another great outing on Saturday. 5 innings of shutout baseball, striking out six. He's allowed just one earned run in his last 5 outings (allowed 5 unearned runs in a previous start). Here's some highlights of the game. #LetsGoBucs pic.twitter.com/KvIxAcjcN1

Oneil Cruz
For just the second time this season, Oneil Cruz collected multiple extra-base hits in a single game. He started off with a two-run double before hitting his second home run of the season.
Oneil Cruz
It’s been a struggle this season for Cruz, whose batting average is still under the Mendoza line. Along with the power surge on Saturday, he’s also done a better job at limiting the strikeouts. Cruz has struck out just twice this week against Louisville, dropping his K rate below 30%.
Jared Triolo
Triolo’s season has certainly resembled a roller coaster in the early goings, starting riding the lows, before getting hot towards the end of the month. This week against Erie he is just 4-for-20, but two of those hits have been for doubles.
