Today is the final day of the minor league season and it’s just Indianapolis.

Game Recap: Osvaldo Bido got the start on the final day of the season and he went three innings, allowing one run on two hits and a walk, with three strikeouts. It was a nice improvement over his Triple-A debut, when he gave up six runs in 4.2 innings. Carmen Mlodzinski came out next and he went two innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits, two walks and two strikeouts. He made the jump from Greensboro this week to help fill innings, though a rain out yesterday helped ease the innings situation. Bear Bellomy also made that jump from Greensboro and he pitched a scoreless sixth, giving way to Grant Ford, who also made the same jump. Unlike the other two, Ford has already appeared with Indianapolis this week. He allowed five runs in the seventh, recording just two outs before Austin Roberts (the fourth Greensboro pitcher to be promoted) got the final out of the inning. He stayed on four the eighth and ended up striking out all four batters he faced. Yerry De Los Santos tossed a scoreless ninth, but the damage was done already in the 8-3 loss. The big hit for Nashville was a grand slam by former Pirate Pablo Reyes.
The first run for the Indians scored on a double by Eli Wilson, who was playing his first Triple-A game. That was followed by a wild pitch that made it 2-2 at the time. A Canaan Smith-Njigba ground out added the final run. Jared Oliva scored twice, reaching on a walk and a triple. Bligh Madris hit two doubles to give him 25 on the season. Tucupita Marcano walked twice and stole his eighth base since joining Indianapolis.
