The Pittsburgh Pirates are on the road today to take on the Detroit Tigers. The Pirates lost 3-1 yesterday to the Toronto Blue Jays, dropping them to a 3-13-2 record this spring, the worst winning percentage in baseball (4-12 Seattle Mariners are second worst). Today’s game will be broadcast live on MLB Network and radio will be available on MLB.com.

Here’s the lineup for today:

  1. Guillermo Heredia, CF
  2. Erik Gonzalez, 2B
  3. Jose Osuna, DH
  4. Colin Moran, 1B
  5. John Ryan Murphy, C
  6. JT Riddle, 3B
  7. Cole Tucker, SS
  8. Jared Oliva, LF
  9. Socrates Brito, RF

Derek Holland will be making the start. He will be followed by Chris Stratton, Dovydas Neverauskas and Robbie Erlin.

Bench includes Jake Elmore, Phillip Evans, Jason Martin, Christian Kelley, Charlie Tilson, Hunter Owen and Dylan Busby.

Chad Kuhl will be pitching two innings in a sim game today (probably already happened) and Chris Archer, Michael Feliz and Richard Rodriguez will all throw in a sim game tomorrow due to the off-day for the Pirates.

For those of you who enjoy the umpire show more than the game itself, Joe West will be behind the plate.
