The Arizona Fall League is winding down and right-handed pitcher Cody Ponce made his last start of the season for the Peoria Javelinas on Wednesday night. Taking on the Scottsdale Scorpions at home, Peoria won 6-1.
Jared Oliva was the only hitter from the Pittsburgh Pirates in the lineup. He batted third and played center field. Oliva went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts, leaving him with a .326/.426/500 slash line in 24 games.
