The Pittsburgh Pirates announced that Corey Dickerson left Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Twins early due to right ankle discomfort.
Dickerson, who was serving as the DH, was pinch-hit for in the bottom of the sixth inning. He was originally hurt when he fouled a ball off of himself in his first at-bat, then was injured again when he slid awkwardly into second base in the third inning.
The Pirates announced that he is out day-to-day at this point. If there are any other updates today, we will post them here.
