MLB Pipeline updated their top 100 prospects list yesterday and the Pittsburgh Pirates have three players among the top 75 spots.
Mitch Keller still ranks as the top prospect in the system. He is now rated 16th overall, after being ranked as the 14th best prospect in Pipeline’s mid-season update. Keller is rated fourth among all pitchers and second for right-handed pitchers.
Ke’Bryan Hayes is now 48th overall, up seven spot from the mid-season ranking. He is fourth among all third basemen.
Travis Swaggerty is rated 75th overall, up 13 spots from the mid-season ranking. He is rated as the 17th best outfielder.
The Pirates had four players in the mid-season update for Pipeline. The difference here is that Shane Baz is no longer in the system, though he is also no longer in the top 100, dropping out in the current update.
