Joshua Palacios had a big game for Indianapolis on Sunday. The outfielder went 3-for-3 with a walk, two doubles, and a grand slam.
Palacios hit a double in the second inning, giving Indianapolis their first run of the game to tie the score at 1-1. He later scored the go-ahead run.
In the third inning, Palacios came to the plate with two outs and the bases loaded. He hit his second homer of the year for Indianapolis, clearing the bases for a grand slam that put Indianapolis up 6-3.
Palacios walked in the sixth inning, then hit his second double of the game in the ninth. That double, which was his 12th of the season, led to another run in the 9-7 victory.
This was the second big power game for Palacios in the last week. Last Wednesday he went 4-for-5 with four doubles.
