Returning from Tommy John surgery, Braxton Ashcraft was just looking to remain healthy in his 2023 season. “The health was the biggest focal point of the season,” said Ashcraft at the end of last year’s campaign. “I think we've done a pretty good job of doing what we need to do to maintain that throughout the season and finish the the same way.” Ashcraft pitched 52.2 innings in 19 starts between three levels last year, finishing his season with 20 innings in Double-A Altoona.
