Welcome to the Pirates Prospects daily video rundown, where we pull some of the top videos of the Pittsburgh Pirates across the internet.
Jose Hernandez
The Pirates Rule 5 selection this offseason, Hernandez’s path to the majors might not be as easy as previous players taken. With actually competition in camp, Hernandez will have to show he can locate his fastball that can reach triple digits, as well as having the slider generate swings and misses.

JT Brubaker vs Oneil Cruz
Often overlooked, some of Brubaker’s metrics were at, or better than Mitch Keller’s. It will be a big year for the righty, as he will have to fight off several of the team’s top pitching prospects.

Luis Ortiz vs Ke’Bryan Hayes
A lot of really strong matchups in camp on Thursday, with Luis Ortiz facing off against Ke’Bryan Hayes. Ortiz is likely heading to Indianapolis, unless something drastic happens, but should be one of the first call ups the team makes should they need a starting pitcher.

Oneil Cruz
Nothing ‘special’ just your daily dose of Oneil Cruz hitting bombs.
Pretty sure Oneil Cruz homer just landed in Sarasota. (Actually where pitchers are working out on the far field. Still not bad.) pic.twitter.com/68f2iI5PVd
