Welcome to the Pirates Prospects daily video rundown, where we pull some of the top videos of the Pittsburgh Pirates across the internet.
Braedon Ogle Returns
Originally a fourth round pick by the Pirates back in 2016, Ogle was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies back in 2021 in exchange for catcher Abrahan Gutierrez. After becoming a free agent this offseason he resigned with the Pirates.

Here he gets a strikeout of outfielder Matt Fraizer.
Caleb Smith
Speaking of lefties, Caleb Smith was a late addition to the major league camp, but an intriguing one to watch as Spring goes on, especially because of his experience as a starter.

Here a good test against Bryan Reynolds and Andrew McCutchen.
Blake Cederlind
I talked about Cederlind briefly on Thursday’s P2Daily after hearing he was good to go this camp. He faces throws live BP against Matt Fraizer and Mike Jarvis here.

Mitchell Miller
Yet another lefty on display here, Miller pitched at three levels last season, from the FCL all the way up to Greensboro. Here he faces Jacob Gonzalez in a live BP.

Anthony began writing over 10 years ago, starting a personal blog to cover the 2011 MLB draft, where the Pirates selected first overall. After bouncing around many websites covering hockey, he refocused his attention to baseball, his first love when it comes to sports. He eventually found himself here at Pirates Prospects in late 2021, where he covers the team’s four full season minor league affiliates.
Two nice change-ups from Ogle to Frazier. Mitchell Miller look nasty and deceptive as well. Cederlind looked alittle rusty and looks like Frazier got the best of him.
Awesome pic of Cederlind!
That’s actually an old pic. I didn’t have my camera yesterday.
Can’t wait to see Cederlind in a game this spring.really hope that he is back and 100% healthy. Would be great to see him in the Bucs pen pitching well
