Daily Video Rundown

Mason Martin

Martin his his 18th home run of the season for the Indianapolis Indians on Thursday, helping further their lead on their way to the win.

Endy Rodriguez

Rodriguez has played just three games at the Triple-A level, and has already picked up six hits — three of which were for extra-bases. He hit a triple on Thursday, which drove in two runs in the process.

Jared Oliva

Oliva has been on fire at the plate this month, he even picked up a pair of doubles in the game on Thursday. It was his glove that made the highlight reel though, making this catch while playing in right field.

Hoy Park

Park picked up his 37th RBI of the season with this base hit, tying up the game at one in the third inning.

Anthony Solometo

On August 24, Anthony Solometo pitched 4 1/3 innings, allowing two hits, one run, and three walks while striking out five batters. Here’s a look back at that start.

When comparing pitchers, Solometo reminds me of Oliver Perez. His motion. Perez had great stuff when he was young, while Solometo does not — yet!– have the velocity Perez had when young.
