Daily Video Rundown

Tanner Tredaway

Tredaway was the team’s 10th round pick out of Oklahoma in 2022, and made his Single-A debut on Saturday, coming up big with a two-run double that put the Marauders in the lead for good.

Malcom Nunez

Nunez picked up his first home run in the Pirates system on Saturday and is now 4-for-14 in his first four games with the Altoona Curve.

Jack Brannigan

The former Notre Dame player has eight hits in as many games with the Marauders, and picked up his second home run as well on Saturday. Half of his hits have gone for extra-bases.

Cal Mitchell

Mitchell continues his strong showing at the Triple-A level, hitting his sixth home run of the season on Saturday. He now has 60 hits in 50 games and owns a slash of .324/.377/.508.

Bubba Chandler

Taking the mound on Tuesday, Chandler made his fourth pitching appearance for the Marauders, completing three innings while allowing three hits, two runs, three walks and finished with six strikeouts.

Malcom Nunez’ build/swing reminds me of Miguel Sano.

Brannigan reminds me of David Freese

Love the run on Bubba’s heater. Obviously needs work on commanding it though. The HR he gave up was a decent pitch, but the low and in location to a lefty is often times hit hard unless it’s in off the plate.

Gonna take some patience for sure but I agree, that kid has a remarkable arm and body control for how raw he is.

Love that Bradenton camera angle!
