Daily Video Rundown

Bubba Chandler

It’s early on for players in the Florida Complex League, but it’s hard not to be amazed by what Bubba Chandler has done so far in his career.

He’s done it all, quite literally, as a two-way player for the Pirates. Just yesterday he was on here for the grand slam that he hit. Saturday he took the mound and pitched 3 1/3 innings of no-hit baseball,  walking three while striking out seven.

Here’s him getting his seventh and final one of the day.

Oneil Cruz

The guy is just a joy to watch, whether it be making plays in the field, running the bases, or absolutely destroying baseball. This one was gone in a hurry, leaving the bat at 112 mph, which as impressive that is overall, is just another day for Cruz at this point.

Wyatt Hendrie

The catcher hasn’t hit the ball well this season, but has made some hard contact the last two days for Bradenton. There wasn’t much offense cooking up in the system Saturday, and the Marauders were nearly shutout on the day, but the two-run home runs kept that from happening.

Indianapolis Indians

Let’s just put it this way, the Indians scored more runs in the second inning of their game than the rest of the system combined.

Rodolfo Castro and Yoshi Tsutsugo both hit home runs, the latter a grand slam while Kevin Newman and Travis Swaggerty also contributed to the offense in their huge inning.
