Pirates Discussion: Pirates Head to Cincinnati for Two

Published:

The Pittsburgh Pirates kick off their road trip leading up to the All Star Break by making a one-day stop in Cincinnati for a double header.

Roansy Contreras will get the nod for game one, with Bryse Wilson scheduled for game two.

Roansy had his career worst start his last time out, giving up seven earned runs, while only lasting 1.2 innings. Contreras will graduate from rookie status if he completes 3.1 innings.

Wilson on the other hand is coming of a strong six inning start against the Brewers, where he gave up only two earned runs.

Hopefully the Pirates will carry their recent power surge into Cincy, and take advantage of the Great American Ball Park band box.
