Daily Video Rundown

Liover Peguero

After getting called up to cover while Tucupita Marcano went on the COVID-19 list, Liover Peguero made his major league debut on Saturday, collecting his first ever big league base hit.

Peguero has been one of the best hitters in the Eastern League this year when he got the call to the majors. He finished the day 1-for-3 with the single, as well as a walk, striking out twice as well. He was able to draw a walk to load the bases in the bottom of the eighth as the Pirates attempted to make a late comeback.

Connor Scott

After getting off to a scorching start, Scott has cooled down a bit, his only home run coming all the way back in April in Richmond. The Altoona offense didn’t get much going, getting shutout and only getting six hits, with Scott’s double one of them.

Travis Swaggerty

Travis Swaggerty picked up his 26th RBI of the season on this single. It wasn’t quite enough as Indianapolis ended up losing the game.

Ji-Hwan Bae

Bae had another good game for Indianapolis on Saturday, going 2-for-4 with a run and double. He has six hits this week going into the Sunday game, and now has 13 doubles on the season. Bae is two extra-base hits shy of tying his 2021 season mark.

Oneil Cruz

Cruz came through with a couple of RBI on Saturday, the first one on this single. It was a good at-bat, fouling off a couple pitches before going the other way with the hit.
