The Pittsburgh Pirates have announced a two-game suspension for right-handed pitcher Keone Kela. According to the Pirates, it is due to a violation of his Uniform Player’s Contract. No other details were released and the club has said that no further comments will be made. Kela was on a rehab assignment in Indianapolis, where he made three appearances, including one on Friday night when he struck out the side on 14 pitches.
