Site Updates: Get 10% Off a Pirates Prospects Subscription and See Why You Need to Join Us

Published:

We’re set to kick off one of the biggest seasons of coverage on Pirates Prospects, spanning from the top of the system throughout the lowest levels of the minors.

Alan Saunders and Matt Gajtka have been providing some excellent coverage of the Pirates in the majors, and will continue that coverage throughout the 2018 season.

With those two covering the big leagues, I’ll be free to focus more on the minor league side, joined by writers at every level in the system. John Dreker will also be pitching in, while putting a big focus on the amateur side with his draft and international updates.

If you’re not already a subscriber, we have a great deal for you to get on board for the entire season. We’re offering 10% off subscriptions for the first week of the season.

To get 10% off a one-year subscription, use the code OPENINGDAY when ordering the Annual plan.

Or, if you want to save some money long-term and join us for three years, you can get 10% off a Top Prospect plan by using the code OPENINGDAY3 when signing up for that plan.

If you’re already a subscriber, and you want to extend your subscription at those discount rates, we will allow for one coupon extension per subscription. Just email tim@piratesprospects.com for a custom code.

That’s about 40 articles per week on the site, not counting any news that comes up, which we will cover with full analysis, or any bonus articles reacting to news, which will also happen frequently. At our extremely valuable subscription rates, that’s about a penny per article during the season.

Use the coupon codes above to get your discounted subscription over on the subscription page.

The Prospect Guide Has Shipped

If you pre-ordered the Prospect Guide, the book has shipped. Everyone should receive their copies in time for the start of the minor league season, with most books arriving on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

We have less than 100 copies remaining, and won’t be printing any more. If you want to get a copy of the book, then go here to order your copy. This is also the last year we will do a print copy of the book, so don’t miss your chance to get the final Prospect Guide we publish.

The eBook is going to be the primary format going forward. We released one final version of the book a few weeks ago, shortly after the Corey Dickerson trade. The new edition just removed Tristan Gray from the book. You can download any updates to the eBook in the original e-mail receipt that you received after your order.

If you haven’t ordered the eBook, you can get that here.

Pirates Prospects is Looking For Sponsors

We are looking for sponsors for the upcoming season. We have corporate level sponsorships available, along with sponsorship opportunities for each of our weekly columns, along with the individual team pages, and our MLB coverage.

Pirates Prospects has been getting increased attention since the Andrew McCutchen and Gerrit Cole trades, as Pirates fans look to the future with the team retooling and relying on younger players. We’re the go-to Pirates site for news across the entire system, and have assembled a team of talented writers.

To advertise on the site, or to get information on our options, send an e-mail to tim@piratesprospects.com.
