A few minor league moves from the last two days, most of which are a chain reaction from the moves between the Pirates and Indianapolis.

**Zack Thornton was assigned to Double-A after Duke Welker was optioned to Indianapolis.

**With Tony Sanchez back in Indianapolis, Ali Solis has been assigned to Double-A.

**Altoona sent Oscar Tejeda to Indianapolis, replacing Josh Harrison, who was called up today.

**Further down in the minors, Lance Breedlove was promoted to West Virginia yesterday. Breedlove has spent time with West Virginia this year, giving up 11 earned runs in 8.1 innings. He pitched seven shutout innings with Jamestown, with a 12:3 K/BB ratio, although he’s a college pitcher in his second year in that league. He should continue to serve as depth in the low-A bullpens.
