The Pittsburgh Pirates made three roster moves this afternoon:

**They recalled Alex Presley from Triple-A Indianapolis.

**To make room for Presley, they’ve optioned Josh Harrison to Indianapolis.

**Chase d’Arnaud has been recalled from his rehab assignment, reinstated from the DL, and optioned to Indianapolis.

D’Arnaud was on the 60-day disabled list, and didn’t previously count toward the 40-man roster. That roster is currently at 40-men, so a corresponding move should be made. Maybe that’s why the Pirates have been adding Triple-A relief pitching depth all morning.
