Miley has solid velocity for a lefty, with a four-seam fastball that sits 90-92 MPH and occasionally gets up around 94. His two-seamer comes in just a tick slower, generally sitting around 89-91 MPH. He likes to throw the four-seamer in on the hands of righties, while working on the outer half with the two-seamer. His four-seamer has been fairly hittable so far in his career, while the two-seamer generally misses a few more bats. He throws two breaking balls, a 79-82 MPH slider and a mid 70’s curve. He also has an 80-83 MPH changeup, which he mostly utilizes against lefties. Miley has good command of his pitches and generates a solid whiff rate with each of his secondary offerings. He does not have any standout offerings, but does not show any glaring weaknesses either.
