Veteran Dmitri Young may have impressed Pirates Manager Clint Hurdle and staff yesterday at Pirate City, but according to Rob Biertempfel of the Trib, they will not offer him a contract.
Young, 38, reported to have held up well to the rigorous workouts yesterday in Bradenton, Fla., but hopes of reviving his career will not happen at least in Pittsburgh.
