— Right-hander Logan Kensing left his live batting practice session early today with tightness in his lower right abdomen.
Kensing, who is a non-roster spring training invite, said after workouts today that he has not injured that area previously. After throwing several pitches, Kensing exited BP.
The Pirates said they will update his condition in two weeks.
— Right-hander Brad Lincoln has tendinitis in his right knee, but says it’s nothing serious.
Lincoln threw a two inning bullpen on Monday and said this morning that everything felt fine afterwards.
“Once I get it going, get it warm, everything is good,” Lincoln said. “When I sit around for a little while, get cold, it kind of just aches a little bit but it’s nothing too serious. I’ll just take some advil every now and then and it’s cool.”
“There’s no set backs or anything. It’s just some aches.”
