Wyatt Toregas Clears Waivers

Published:

Toregas has cleared waivers and was outrighted to AAA.

Wyatt Toregas, who was waived earlier this week to create space for Michael McKenry, has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to AAA Indianapolis.  Toregas only played in three games for the Pirates, and only started one of those games.  He went 0-for-4 in his only at-bats, after going 1-for-29 in Indianapolis.

His return to Indy will likely move Kris Watts back to Altoona, as Toregas will back up Eric Fryer in AAA.
