Upcoming Pirates Prospects Coverage

Published:

This past week I’ve been busy setting up coverage for the site during the early part of the season.  There will be more games added, in the future, but for now this is what is on deck:

-I will be leaving on March 20th to cover the final week of Spring Training down in Bradenton.  I’ll be there until the 28th.

-During the weekend of April 8th-10th, Anthony Rendon and Rice University will be playing at East Carolina University.  I’ll be making the trip down to cover all three games.

-I will also be covering the Altoona Curve in Richmond on April 21st-23rd, as well as May 7th and 8th.

-John Dreker will be covering the Altoona at Trenton games on May 31st-June 2nd, and June 30th-July 3rd.  He will also be covering the West Virginia at Lakewood games on June 9th-11th, and August 5th-8th.

So far that’s 19 Pirates minor league games, 3 Anthony Rendon games, and one week of Spring Training, and there will be more coverage from the site throughout the year.  Most of the coverage is made possible by the sales of the Pirates Prospects books.  You can help expand the coverage of the site by purchasing your copy of the 2011 Prospect Guide and the 2011 Annual (wait, was that a “we can’t expand our coverage until revenues increase” comment?).

Also, if you’re planning on being at any of these events, feel free to seek me out (best way would be to send me a message on Twitter to find out where I am).
