Minor Moves: Pirates Sign Hector Luna, Upper Level Promotions

A few minor league transactions this afternoon:

**The Pirates have signed Hector Luna as a minor league free agent and have assigned him to Indianapolis. Luna will obviously be there to help Indianapolis in their playoff run after the September callups. Luna has a career .262/.314/.385 line in 794 major league at-bats. He had 62 at-bats in the majors with the Phillies this year, and hit for a .282/.329/.450 line in 220 at-bats for the Phillies’ Triple-A team.

**The Matt Curry promotion to Indianapolis, first reported last night by Kristy Robinson, is official.

**Andy Vasquez was promoted to Altoona, taking the place of Curry.

**Kyle Kaminska, who was acquired in the Gaby Sanchez trade, is currently in Altoona. He will be promoted tomorrow to start in Altoona, after Gerrit Cole is officially promoted to Indianapolis.
