The offense for the Indianapolis Indians went quiet on Thursday, losing to the Omaha Storm Chasers 4-1. Bligh Madris recorded the only run of the day, a solo home run which was the fourth of the season for him.

Andres Alvarez
With the injury to Nick Gonzales, the Altoona Curve don’t have to move around Andres Alvarez to get him into the lineup for now. Alvarez hit his team leading ninth home run of the season in Altoona’s 13-12 win over Bowie.

He also hit a RBI triple as well that stretched out the teams lead at the time. Alvarez now owns a slash of .274/.374/.642 with 15 extra-base hits and 21 RBI.

Matt Gorski
Gorski joined into the team’s offensive outburst, hitting a RBI double as a part of a 2-for-4 day. As a part of the 13-runs, Gorski scored twice himself, also drawing a walk.

While he’s known for his offense, Blake Sabol made a slick play with the glove on Thursday, throwing out a runner at second.
