De Los Santos made six starts and didn’t pitch after July.  He didn’t throw more than three innings in any start except the last one.  He had trouble throwing strikes, but did at least miss a lot of bats.

De Los Santos made four starts in the GCL.  He dominated in two, had a bad outing in one, and left the fourth one early.

De Los Santos opened the season on the injured list, was assigned to Bradenton briefly in June, then went back on the injured list without getting into a game.  The nature of the injury, which may or may not date back to his last game in 2019, is unknown.

R:  1-2-0, 2.82 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, 22.1 IP, 7.3 BB/9, 12.5 K/9

De Los Santos made ten appearances in the FCL.  Half were starts, but he maxed out at 3.2 IP.  He was tough to hit, as shown by the K rate and his .183 opponents’ average.  When he had trouble it was control.

De Los Santos has a good arm.  If he can get the game time he needs to improve his command, he could surprise at some point.  He’s eligible for Rule 5, but that’s not an issue right now.
